September 28, 2022- MESA Foundation student athletes join the fight against ALS. In its first outreach effort, MESA Foundation is partnering with The ALS Association connecting several student athletes from the San Diego State Men’s Basketball Team to assist in raising the awareness of the disease. The upcoming Walk to Defeat ALS is being held on October 16th, 2022 at DeAnza Cove in San Diego’s Mission Bay.
The MESA student athletes will be in attendance helping in various capacities throughout the event. Our athletes will be using their social media platforms leading up to the walk to encourage involvement and bring awareness to the need for continued research and desire to find a cure.
